Text tutorial
Preparation
- Cut the front of one Giotto barrel, and 2x 3.7cm pieces from the other Giotto barrel.
- Cut the protrusion of both Giotto backplugs.
- Cut the upper rounded of the Giotto cap and empty the cap.
- Using 240 grid sandpaper, lightly sand the Giotto pieces (if sanded too hard, the barrels will quickly get dirty)
- Cut the inner G-spec grip to ~2.7cm (after being put on the Giotto barrel, it should be 2.5cm)
- Cut both DGG to 3cm ("Lip side" included in the 3cm section).
- Cut the plastic tube to 2x 1.15cm.
- Cut both ST barrels to 2.5cm (both starting from the "T", and ending near backplug).
- Cut both thin grips to ~0.6mm.
Assembly
- Put the Metal anchor bolt inside the cut ST barrel (The round part should be at the widest end of the ST part).
- Add a thin grip on the St barrel (at 1/3rd of the barrel, narrowest side of the barrel)
- On the Giotto cap, add a cut section of plastic tube and 3cm of DGG.
- Put the Metal anchor+ST structure inside the Giotto cap, push it until the structure is the closest to the extremity of the cap (The structure should fit snug thank to the thin grip).
- Put an O-ring on both middle of Giotto backplugs.
- Put both backplugs in both ends of the Giotto barrel.
- Put the small cut section of Giotto barrel on the backplugs (assembling the parts like an Ivan Giotto)
- Put the G-spec grips on the Giotto small parts, at the closest of the O-ring.
- On the remaining visible part of the small Giotto barrel, add some tape
- Make another cap, and assemble on the body
