The Dropcut is a cutting technique used to cut grips. As this technique has it's non neglect-able dose margin of mistake, it is instead recommended to cut a grip on a barrel. A well done Dropcut will lead to a clean cut.
It is also recommended to perform this technique on stripped grips rather than flat grips. The lines will help with the grip placement.
Method:
(Tool required: A grip, and a very sharp blade.)
Using a blunt blade will lead to more resisting grip to cut, and in consequence, an imperfect cut.
1. Place the grip on a flat surface (a table, desk, floor, etc..), and place the blade over it in perpendicular.
2. Push the blade downward on the grip, until the grip is sandwiched be flat surface
3. Keep pushing until the blade slice the grip in half. (Caution: do not shake the blade. Doing this lead to a cut with imperfection.)
